JAY RODRIGUEZ TO SHOOT LATEST PROJECT, CHANGE IN
ASBURY PARK & NEPTUNE, NJ
ASBURY PARK, NJ, OCTOBER 30, 2009:

Jay Rodriguez, awarding winning director, producer, and cinematographer and Itchy House Films founder, will shoot his latest project, "Change", in Asbury Park, October 31 and Neptune, NJ November 1, in conjunction with Gruntled Entertainment.

"Change", written by Sean Ryan and Jay Rodriguez is a dramatic short film about two inner city teens that battle the realities of poverty, drug addiction and the threat of perpetual violence while navigating the conflicting pull of their consciences.

"Certain aspects of this project reminded me of my youth", said producer Jeff Cucciniello, "it brought me back to other points in my own life. I was also very intrigued by the message that this film will send to the audience, which I feel is important for the younger generation."

"Change's" first stop on the film festival circuit will be at the BET Lens On Talent: Johnson & Johnson Filmmakers Challenge.

"My goal for this project is for the story to really resonate with the audience. I would love for the audience to leave with a little more hope than before they saw the film," said Jeff Wynn, executive producer and president & COO of Gruntled Entertainment. "It's a side story that is not typically seen. In most movies about young African-American males in this kind of life, most end up with the characters who either die or end up in jail."
