On March 9, 2016, JC released on YouTube a hip hop-Latino mix track of "Sorry" by Justin Beiber Ft J Balvin, reaching over 200,000 views in less than twenty four hours and continues to move up the charts. His determination to succeed is not confined to the concrete walls of Mott Hall Bronx High School. JC is determined to share his music with the world, and as he puts it, "no worries because soon, I am going to conquer the game".

Born in New York City and currently in high school, seventeen year old, songwriter-performing artist, Julio Mejia, also known as ‘JC’ is shining like a star. At an age when most of us are just beginning to figure out what to do with our lives, JC is on his way to becoming a successful recording artist.  His first mixtrack,"SORRY" by Justin Beiber Ft J Balvin was published on YouTube on March 9, 2016 and the fan's reaction was spectacular. JC's second mixtrack, ‘Apparently’ originally interpreted by J Cole, will be released via YouTube on March 30th, 2016.  This mixtrack will take you in an emotional journey, as you travel through the intimate life events of JC's lyrics.  But this is just the start of an extraordinary star.

In 2015, under the artist management of Rise To The Top Productions, JC made his first guest-star appearance rapping on Amin Laboriel’s single, “Chocolate Banana Pop It”. His participation was “flat-out awesome…a short burst of precision-perfect rap” said Jer of Sleeping Bag Studios. The music video has over 300,000 views on YouTube and is moving up the charts on VEVO and is now available on iTunes, Spotify and other digital outlets. In addition to this, a  radio campaign with a projection of 20,000 radio stations (FM & Web Radios), 15000 clubs, DJs, & Podcast producers in 52 countries, was lounged this week to promote the song featuring JC.

Clearly, JC appears to be destined to succeed in his creative music expression journey.  During an interview, conducted by RiseToTheTopTV, JC commented that a turning point in his life began with the realization that the most important thing in his life is music.  “I didn’t know how to rap even though I had the passion for it; to the point of feeling like the worst rapper ever.  My lyrics were always off. I had no flow but I decided that I was going to perfect what I love.”   JC did more than just perfect his artistic skills. JC improved his flow and writing skills, and searched deeper into his artistic soul becoming more in tune with his emotions, developing a genuine ability to connect with his fans at a personal level.

This intimate connection is reflected on JC’s next mix track, ‘Apparently’. His lyrics takes you right to the heart of his personal struggle of a harsh life, a broken family; a single mother and grandmother (who immigrated from the Dominican Republic) raising five children, living in poverty, instances where he was standing alone in and outside of school without real friends; and the hard work put in during late nights to accomplish his goals…“Blew my brain up with no sleep. Thinking…how the family gonna eat; father never here…never did his daily routines”, stated JC on his rap.

JC’s excellent rap precision is a reflection of his genetic predisposition to excel in everything he does and is highlighted on his upcoming mixtrack ‘Apparently’, as he makes a strong statement against all odds, “had to question, this aftermath, memories back then that I can’t bring back. Reflected the future, had to change the past, so it was time to create my path”. And this is exactly what JC did. He battled the obstacles life presented with determination and he is now on his way to the top of the music charts.  JC is determined to share his music with the world and as he puts it, “no worries because soon, I am going to conquer the game”.
