Jennifer Aniston And Awareness On Breast Cancer

Jennifer Aniston is involved in a film about Breast cancer patients by directing one of the sequence in the film.

The most talked about film, Five, is all set to debut on October 10 at prime time eight (8:00) pm. The film is completely loaded with star power both in the scenes and behind the scenes. Jeanne Tripplehorn of Big Love fame is the one who receives the maximum time on camera, while others share their presence as well, like Josh Holloway, Annie Pots, Tracee Ellis, and Jeffrey Tambor.

Looking at the crew behind the cameras, we see Marta Kauffman, Demi Moore, Jennifer Aniston and Patty Jenkins. Jenifer Aniston has directed one of the sequences that comprises the film, and chose to recruit Clarkson personally for the role. Her character is in the process of facing the fourth (4th) stage of breast cancer. The actress says Jennifer Aniston kept her spirits up when she was supposed to starve for 4-5 days to look really sick. Clarkson says that it was "brutal." "There were scenes where my chest was bound so tightly I could barely breathe. But I have to preface that by saying, I'm an actress playing someone with cancer. I am a very lucky person. I'm not actually going through the disease. And I have witnessed it firsthand with family members and friends."

Clarkson says that Jennifer Aniston was one person who helped her go through the role, without her she could not have done this. She goes out of board to praise Jennifer and calls her a "fiercely gifted director."

Five is an interwoven film of short films. The story revolves around the plight of women suffering from breast cancer. On making the film, Jennifer Aniston told The Sun Times: "Making a film that is special is wonderful, but when it's actually dealing with a cause and dealing with something that attention needs to be paid to, that's just something that fills you in such a way that it is indescribable."
