JFS of Metrowest Installs New Board of Directors Members and Officers, Honors Local Celebrity Jordan Rich
Jewish Family Service (JFS) of Metrowest announced today that they have installed four new board members and a new board president for the 2015/2016 year at their annual meeting and celebrated long-time JFS friend and supporter Jordan Rich.
Framingham, MA, June 3, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Jewish Family Service (JFS) of Metrowest, a non-profit, community-based organization that provides vital social, health and community services to alleviate suffering, enhance lives and support people in need in the Metrowest community, announced today that they have installed four new board members and a new board president for the 2015/2016 year.
The installations took place at the JFS annual meeting held at Temple Beth Sholom in Framingham on May 27th. The event featured music selections sung by the MetroWest Jewish Day School Children’s Choir led by Cantor Scott Sokol and was attended by JFS board members, volunteers, staff, friends and family.

Festivities included a tribute to radio personality and local celebrity Jordan Rich, a long time JFS friend and supporter, for his exemplary media career and tireless charitable involvement. Accolades were offered by attorney Eric Weinstein as well as Ken Carberry, President of Chart Productions, and Jordan’s son Andrew Rich.
The celebration heralded in new board members:
· Former business owner, Peggy Barry of South Dartmouth
· President of Framingham State University, Dr. F. Javier Cevallos of Framingham
· Leader of EMC’s Global Real Estate and Facilities organization, John Herrera of Newton
· Co-founder of the PHIA Group and managing partner of The Law Offices of Russo & Minchoff, attorney Adam Russo of Hull
Also, continuing board member Michelle Wilen of Ashland, former environmental planner at CDM Smith, stepped into the executive role of vice president.
And, attendees rose with thanks and appreciation as Lester Schindel of Framingham, President and Chief Executive Officer at CharterCare Health Partners, completed his tenure as board president and passed the gavel to long-time board member and former vice president Louis Kates of Framingham, CPA and partner at Starr, Finer Starr, and LLP, as he accepted the position of board president.
The new inductees join previous and current board members, including:

· Vice President Melissa Roiter of Southborough, Owner of Yummy Mummy Brownies

· Secretary Penny Glassman of Ashland, Head of Library Technology Initiatives at UMass Medical School
· Treasurer Daniel Finn of Natick, Senior Vice President and Wealth Advisor at Morgan Stanley
