Jim Gilchrist's Minuteman Project Offers $10,000 Reward For Capture And Conviction Of Boston Marathon Bomber

Online, April 18, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Two bombs exploded near the finish line of Boston's annual marathon race deep in the heart of the city. Three bystanders observing the race, including an eight-year-old boy, were killed and 178 others were injured.

The suspected source of the bombings has not yet been determined or announced by law enforcement. Regardless of whether the source is a foreign terrorist cell, or a domestic terrorist group, one thing is certain: our nation and our people are the targets of demons determined to inflict pain, suffering, death, and fear upon us.

"Accordingly, the Minuteman Project is offering a $10,000 reward to anyone providing information to police that plays a substantial role in the capture and conviction of the person(s) responsible for this reprehensible act of terrorism and murder," Gilchrist said.

Gilchrist said he hopes others will join the Minuteman Project in offering similar rewards. "This is part of a concerted effort to aid law enforcement in bringing to justice the perpetrator(s) of this heinous act," said Gilchrist.

Any person or organization, anywhere in the world, including any member or agency of law enforcement, is eligible for the reward, Gilchrist said.

The reward is limited to an aggregate sum of $10,000, regardless of the number of recipients. Multiple recipients may share equitably in the reward. The reward must be claimed within 60 days of the initial criminal conviction.

"With assistance from the public, I have complete confidence that law enforcement officials will bring this matter to a swift resolution," Gilchrist said.
