JK Music Group and Randy Jackson Introduce Troy Harley

The newest Randy Jackson's recording artist Troy Harley is set to conquer the hears of America.

He has it all: good looks, great voice, and the charm to pull it all together. So it's no wonder that the LA newcomer managed to score a deal with JK Music Group and music producer Randy Jackson and recorded his first single after only six short months in the US.

He may be new to the States, but the Russian-born Harley is no stranger to the biz. An alum of the popular Russian pop group Chelsea, Troy has a long history of winning over crowds. In Chelsea, he did it with boyband ballads and major-key harmonies, all-the-while cultivating his inner rocker.

Troy Harley got his start on "Star Factory"-a sort of Russian "American Idol." In a stroke of fate, music producers Julia Kurbatova and Oleg Shmelev of JK music Group record label caught wind of Harley's act (as he was performing with the legendary rock band "The Scorpions") just as their company was seeking a rock act to even out its dancepop lineup. They invited Harley to visit Los Angeles to audition for and meet with Grammy Award-winning producer and American Idol judge Randy Jackson. Jackson fell hard with his characteristic enthusiasm, JK loved the demo, and so, with the stage lights still dimming on Chelsea's second-place "Star Factory" reprise, Harley moved to Los Angeles. Almost overnight Harley had found an apartment, a record deal, and a new shot at international musical acclaim.

Now, Troy Harley is ready to shed his youthful Chelsea persona and indulge his darker side. He's ready to unveil the rocker within.

But it's not an effortless metamorphosis. Harley spends his days immersed in long training sessions, focusing on everything from vocal performance (with vocal coach, record producer and performer Marlon Saunders) to English and accent reduction, to acting and media interaction. He recently recorded his first single at Jim Henson Studios, recording site of John Lennon, The Doors, Joe Cocker, Pink Floyd, Metallica, U2 and Bon Jovi, with the help of producer Randy Jackson.

"Working with Troy has been a great experience" said Jackson. "His voice is amazing and he is definitely star material. We got some hot records coming your way, so look out!"

Harley's first single is due in 2012.
