Joan Jett & Sawyer Brown Perform at Odawa Casino Resort

Online, June 24, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Located in Petoskey, Michigan, the Odawa Casino Resort is attracting a diversity of music acts for the month of July.

Starting off the month with a classic pop icon, Joan Jett, an accomplished singer, songwriter & guitarist with eight platinum and gold albums will be performing Saturday, July 10th at 8pm. As one of only two women on Rolling Stone Magazine's 100 greatest guitar players of all time, she is known for hits like "Crimson and Clover" and "I Love Rock 'N' Roll." She is also a producer and host of a weekly Sirius Satellite radio program on Faction.

Based in Florida, Sawyer Brown will put on a high-energy show Saturday, July 24th at 8pm. The country band that got its start on "Star Search" has been performing for 23 years and has put on more than 3,500 shows - winning both gold and platinum albums. Despite their accolades, Sawyer Brown remains loyal to small towns and rural communities.
