Join Innovative-e for Two Pre-Conference Fundraising Events and Four Sessions at the 2012 Worldwide Microsoft Partner Conference

Online, July 3, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Innovative-e, Inc. is hosting two special pre-conference fundraising events-a SharePoint workshop on Friday, July 6 and a dragon boat racing event on Sunday July 8-to raise proceeds to benefit the Canadian charity Thinking Forward. Thinking Forward is a nonprofit organization focused on the character development of children, youth and adults in Toronto.

The fundraising SharePoint workshop, "How to Plan, Manage and Control SharePoint Projects," will be held Friday July 6, 2012, at 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. The cost of the event is a donation only. Participants choose how much to donate. Participants will learn proven techniques on how to best manage the people, process and technical aspects of SharePoint initiatives, including upgrades, new implementations, migrations and custom solution development. Participants are eligible to earn six Project Management Institute (PMI) professional development units (PDUs). Participants will also receive relevant artifacts and templates, including project schedules, checklists, requirements documents, design documents, and business case documents. Innovative-e is also hosting a dragon boat racing fundraising event at the PaddleCore Boat Club on Sunday July 8, 2012, at 7:30 a.m. - 10 a.m. following SharePoint Saturday Toronto and just before the 2012 Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference. All proceeds from the event will go to Thinking Forward. The cost to participate is $99 per person. Payments are tax-deductible.
