Join The Great SID Video Interview For The Industrial Design Day!

ICSID is the International Council of Societies of Industrial Design, an association which aims to promote industrial design with member coming from over than 50 nations.

Every June 29th, ICSID organizes the world industrial design day, asking its members to talk and spread design guide lines. This year topic, on the occasion of ICSID 50th anniversary, is a step back to the main question of our activity: "What is industrial design"?

Scuola Italiana Design goes beyond, asking its students, operators in the sector, entrepreneurs and enthusiasts what creative design is in their opinion. It's an opportunity to raise awareness and promote creative design and give visibility to SID Pills and Scuola Italiana Design - PST Galileo community in the world.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

In order to answer that question, you are asked to record (on your own) one or more short video interviews to yourself or other people, each lasting up to 1 minute, in which to say:
- your name;
- your job;
- the creative design area you are passionate or deal with: product, packaging, visual, web, fashion, architecture, music, dance, etc.
- a short (and creative!) definition of creative design;
- the product that best excite you and that perfectly represents, in your view, creative design.

We suggest to record your interviews in English. Other languages are allowed, but will inserted with English subtitles.
Videos will be delivered to Scuola Italiana Design in digital format, on cd/dvd/USB key, hand delivered, by mail or downloadable from a web space.

DEADLINES

Videos must be sent up to Monday, June 18th, 2012. The clips will be collected together in a special video on creative design that will be presented to the world during next World Industrial Design Day, June 29th, 2012.
