Roth, a highly regarded and experienced entrepreneur and investment advisor to agencies, online advertising, content, software, and other sub-segments of the media, digital media, internet and advertising sectors, will work closely with ION’s management to continue development of its best-in-class influencer identification and engagement offering, helping to scale ION’s technology to build a leading platform play.
Prior to joining ION, Jonathan served over 10 years at leading middle-market advisory firms in New York, Seattle, Los Angeles and Boston, generating north of $1.5 billion in transaction value both domestically and cross-border in a broad range of advisor engagements featuring private and public companies and major venture capital, growth equity, and private equity investors, from strategic consulting to equity and debt raises to mergers and acquisitions. Jon brings experience and expertise both as the co-founder and C-level leader of two venture-backed startups combined with business advisory expertise. He has helped advise entrepreneurial companies with respect to growth, capital raising, and ultimate exits to major consolidators such as Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN), Twitter (NYSE:TWTR), Google (NASDAQ:GOOG), WPP (NASDAQ:WPPGY), and McGraw-Hill (NYSE:MHFI), among others.
