JRE Group Conquers the Mechanical Electrical Instrumentation Sector

Established as an electrical company, JRE Group has gone on to become a leading mechanical electrical instrumentation business, also specialising in data comms and maintenance services.

Norwich, UK- Established as an electrical company, JRE Group has gone on to become a leading mechanical electrical instrumentation business, also specialising in data comms and maintenance services.

Speaking to Business Development Director Joe Conway, he attributes its success to founders Jerome Ryan and Denis Kennedy who started the company in 1995.

As part of JRE's business plan, not only did it expand into different specialties, but Conway says that Ryan sought to achieve a turnover of 30-40 million euros. Along the way, the company added some major names in the pharmaceutical industry to its client list, such as Schering-Plough, GlaxoSmithKline and Baxter.

Based in Ireland, the company recently opened an office in London, which Conway revealed is now contributing 25 percent of its business. There are also plans to enter other European markets, although this remains under discussion.
Emphasis is placed on safety at JRE and it proudly holds the CHAS accreditation in the UK - one of the first Irish construction companies to do so.

Sustainability and green policies are now the focus of the company's attention and Conway maintains that it does not want to get left behind in this regard.
