Jump in Feet First to Celebrate Julian's 20th Annual Grape Stomp Festa!

Julian, California, August 21, 2016 (Newswire.com) - Don’t miss the 20th annual Grape Stomp Festa as Julian celebrates the year’s harvest and the area’s rich local wine industry. The Festa will be held on Saturday, September 3, from 11am to 7pm at Menghini Winery, in the mountain town of Julian, just east of San Diego.

Think about it: how often do you get the chance to kick off your shoes, roll up your pant legs and squish your way through tons of grapes! With two huge stomping barrels, one for adults and one for the kids, the Festa offers a truly unique experience to everyone in the family.

Of course, what would a Festa be without great wine, great food, great shopping, great music, and great entertainment? This year’s celebration will feature the wines of 11 local wineries, a myriad of delicious food options, unique shopping opportunities, authentic Italian music performed by Roman Holiday, bocce ball contests, an “Lucy Look-Alike” contest, and, back by popular demand, the “Trash Your Wedding Dress” caper where women (and a few men!) show up in their wedding dresses for the express purpose of turning them into a purple mess.

Tickets are $15 for General Admission and $50 for the VIP Package that includes parking, admission, a meal, 2 wine tastings, a T-shirt, a mixed drink from the bar, VIP tent seating, snacks, and a fast-pass to the stomping barrels. In addition, a special discount is being offered to the men and women fire fighters who so bravely protect California’s communities.
