Jump Start Your Fitness Resolution With A Trampoline Court Workout At Sky High Sports
A high-flying, calorie blasting class, AIRobics is so much fun, you'll feel like a kid again.
Online, January 2, 2014 (Newswire.com) - AIRobics, Sky High Sports' signature trampoline court fitness class, not only burns up to 1000 calories per hour, it's so much bouncy fun, jumpers look forward to returning for another class. After all, isn't finding a workout you enjoy enough to really stick with half the battle?
"AIRobics makes it easy to channel your inner 8-year-old, but don't let the fun fool you," said Jerry Raymond, founder of Sky High Sports. "This is a challenging, full body, core burning workout that will show real results in pounds and inches lost. At this time of year, when people are vowing to live a healthier lifestyle, AIRobics is a fun and effective way to jump start a New Year's resolution."
Offered at 17 Sky High Sports locations across America, the 55 minute class is held on a trampoline court nearly the size of a basketball court. Dozens of large, trampoline panels cover the floor and walls. Go ahead and bounce off the walls…literally! We encourage it.
Whether you're a novice trying to lose 30 pounds or a devoted fitness enthusiast looking to add variety to your training regimen, AIRobics is adaptable to any fitness level. Jumpers share a sense of camaraderie and encouragement. Need to take a short break? Go ahead. Sky High is a judgment free zone!
During AIRobics, your heart rate will rise, your legs will burn and you'll feel every move in your core. And then there's more! Every class includes circuits targeting abs, arms and glutes.
Just a few of Sky High's signature, low impact AIRobics moves include:
Rumping- Bounding across and back the trampoline court; a combination of running and jumping.
Sky Jacks- Sky High puts the "jump" in jumping jacks. Reach for the sky, double time.
Booty Bounces- As your booty hits the canvas, extend your legs in front of you and bounce back up. Work your glutes while developing your agility.
Individual AIRobics classes are priced from $7 to $10. Discounted multi-class packages are available for advance purchase. In addition, heart rate monitors are available for rent at the front desk.
