Justice Is Mind Official Poster Released

Designed by Emmy award winner Adam Starr from a concept by Justice Is Mind's director/writer Mark Lund, the first official one sheet of the independently produced feature film was released today. Story centers on neuroscience in the courtroom.

Mark Lund executive producer and director, is pleased to present the official one sheet of the feature film Justice Is Mind. Set in the near future where a new type of MRI process called FVMRI can read your memory in video form, the poster centers around an MRI image of the main character Henri Miller and the subsequent results of this experimental test.

Starring Vernon Aldershoff as Henri Miller, Justice Is Mind wrapped principal photography on October 13 in Massachusetts. With over thirty five speaking parts, over fifty extras and shot at fifteen locations, Justice Is Mind is scheduled to be released in 2013. The poster features an actual MRI image of Vernon Aldershoff that was taken of the actor when the production was filming at the MRI Centers of New England in Haverhill, Massachusetts.

"The poster is designed to illicit questions around the MRI image and what this new process has ultimately revealed during the course of the story," said Lund who also wrote the screenplay. "When I first learned about the research into 'thought identification' through FMRI procedures, I subsequently discovered by talking to neurologists and specialists in this area that at some point, sooner rather than later, the science fiction I postulate in Justice Is Mind will be science fact. Neuroscience is already in our courtrooms on the efforts of lie detection. Like it or not, mind reading is coming to the courtroom it's just a matter of when."

In Justice Is Mind businessman and restaurant owner Henri Miller has been afflicted with unexplained headaches since childhood that have increased in intensity into adulthood. When he has the new FVMRI procedure and it reveals that he has allegedly shot and killed two people on his property, the trial of the century begins in which Miller is faced with his own memory at trial. But all is not as is seems as a dark family secret held by Henri's minister father Joseph reveals itself during the trial.

"Our principal photography could not have gone better and my thanks again to the actors, crew, location partners and most importantly, my two co-executive producer partners Mary Wenninger and Stefan Knieling for making Justice Is Mind possible," said Lund. "With our first poster released, and stills being posted weekly, our next event will be the release of the trailer."
