Best of Omaha names Ingredient as Best New Restaurant for 2010.

Kansas City, Mo - The fast casual concept managed by Leap Hospitality was named Best New Restaurant this week in its annual Best of Omaha competition. Based in Kansas City, Ingredient Restaurant maintains they "raise the bar" on gourmet fast casual by providing unique and high quality fresh ingredients in their salads, sandwiches, pizzas and breakfast dishes.

"We made a commitment to the quality of food and experience at an affordable price, which Omaha obviously took notice with our first location in the market," said Pat Phelan owner of Leap Hospitality. The location has been such a success the group will be opening its second location in Omaha at One Pacific Center in February.

According to Phelan, Ingredient has opened five new locations in the last year with aggressive plans to expand into Manhattan KS, Des Moines, St. Louis and Minnesota in the immediate future.

There are three Ingredient Restaurant locations in the Kansas City Metro: 1111 Main Street in Downtown, the Park Place shops in Leawood and 4807 Jefferson Street on the Plaza.
