With over 22 years dedicated to law, Kantaras​​​ brings a wealth of knowledge to his industry, and in particular to his area of specialization, marital and family law. When asked what inspired him to go into law, Kantaras said:

"When I was eight or nine years old, my father's friend who was a lawyer would drive us to Greek school. At the time I didn't know what a lawyer was. Whenever he drove I would always fight with my cousin and my sister to get in the front seat just listen to the guy talk. I asked my parents what the he did. They said he was a lawyer. That was when I decided I wanted to be a lawyer, so I could talk the way he did."

As a thought-leader in his industry, Kantaras is focused on several recent trends in family law. In particular, he is focused on the legal implications of same-sex marriage and different issues related to income and asset distribution after divorce. 

After more than two decades in law, Kantaras shows no signs of slowing down. In the coming years he hopes to continue to grow his practice’s scope and reputation, and eventually become a judge. He noted:

He is also admitted to the United States District Court - Middle District of Florida, U.S. Court of Appeals - Eleventh Circuit, and U.S. Supreme Court.
