Kaiser Baas Takes to the Skies - Alpha Drone Unveiled

Australia, May 18, 2015 (Newswire.com) - ​​Kaiser Baas has revealed the Alpha Drone, the first-in-class of the S-Series Drones, allowing consumers to take footage and stills from the air in HD 720p.

Light-weight at 109g and with a streamlined body, the Alpha Drone has a 60m range and an in-built 6-axis gyro control for superior stabilisation.  Fling the Alpha into the air, engage the throttle and it will right itself and be ready for action in milliseconds.  The on-board camera records footage in HD 720p at 30 frames per second and shoots pictures at 2MP.  With a removable and rechargeable battery, the Alpha Drone has been designed to get you up in the air capturing footage quickly and to keep you there longer.

Not only does the Alpha Drone record videos and take photos, it is a hell of a lot of fun to fly.  You don’t have to be a licenced pilot to get on board with the Alpha though.  Using the Transmitter and its display screen, trim and tweak the controls and trigger the photo, video and 3D Eversion functions at the touch of a button.  The Transmitter is powered by 6 x AA batteries and has a range of up to 60m.  If the Alpha flies out of range, there’s no need to worry about lost footage as the on-board camera has a Black Box feature, footage is recorded locally to a Micro SD card (included) and won’t stop if the Alpha travels too far from the Transmitter.

Kaiser Baas is proud to report that during beta-testing, there wasn’t a smile left un-cracked as real-life consumers flew Alpha Drones, taking videos and snapshots of themselves from the sky.  With a plug-and-play construction, consumers need only snap on the Rotor Guards and Landing Gear and insert the charged batteries for lift-off.

The Alpha Drone is only the first in an upcoming S-Series of Drones from Kaiser Baas.  Future models will include the Gamma Drone; WiFi enabled with a smartphone viewfinder and the Delta Drone; load-carrying and the biggest in the series.
