Kansas City Design Studio Launches Custom Snowboard Brand: Black Powder Customs

Online, November 12, 2009 (Newswire.com) - Kansas City, MO- There's a new custom snowboard brand in Kansas City, Missouri - and they're yelling, from the mountain-top, that snowboarders don't have to stand for 1-of-10,000 pre-manufactured, same-old same-old boards. This new custom snowboard brand, Black Powder Customs, has been launched by Kansas City based progressive design studio, House of Tears Design, to meet the need for unique, quality-made snowboards (and fulfill the studio's lust for seeing design manifested in physical products).

Black Powder Customs believes that custom is the only way to ride - and they're making getting a custom, one-of-a-kind snowboard a whole lot easier. They offer two options, both of which can be ordered easily via the Black Powder Customs website at BlackPowderCustoms.com:

1. The first option is purchasing a pre-designed one-of-one board, all of which have been designed by House of Tears Design's in-house design staff. Once a particular design is ordered, it comes off of the site and will never be manufactured again. Ever.

2. The second option is a full custom design option where the pro-level designers at House of Tears Design will create a custom board design for an individual, company, record label, etc based on artwork, pictures, logos or sketched ideas.

The artists and designers at House of Tears Design ensure that Black Powder Customs produces custom designed snowboards that are the real deal - not those stick-on gel skins that start peeling before you've exited the ski lift. The boards are manufactured in the USA utilising digital dye sublimation printing - just like any other snowboard one could find from the big boys like Burton or Hurley - after the board's been built based on the specs chosen during checkout, making a design that will stay with your board for as long as it's hitting the snow.
