Kansas Jewelers Association Launches New Mobile Website For Users To Find Local Jewelry Stores With Their Phones

Jeweler Websites Sponsors New Mobile Website for the Kansas Jewelers Association that Gives Consumers On-the-Go Access to the List of Member Professional Jewelers, Including Single Tap to Place a Phone Call or View Store Locations on Google Maps.

The Kansas Jewelers Association (KJA) recently launched a new mobile website optimized to connect consumers to KJA members as well as provide information for KJA retail jewelry store owners on-the-go. As more consumers start using their cell phones, iPads and other mobile devices this new website is poised to lead customers right to the doorstep of local jewelry stores throughout Kansas.

The Kansas Jewelers Association mobile website is actually one part in a larger new website that was launched. The website is designed for both personal computers and for all types of mobile devices. The PC version of the website will appear nicely on many smartphones, but when a mobile device is detected the user is presented a link at the top of every page offering to try the mobile site.

The PC version of the website presents all the information that has become commonplace for regional jewelry associations. KJA members have access to recently newsletters, fellow member lists, and listings of upcoming events. The consumers are provided some brief educational information and a database search for local jewelry stores.

Every retail member now has a single web page dedicated to details of their store, including a map and reviews. The jewelry store's page is viewable in both the mobile website and PC website versions.

The Kansas Jewelers Association is the first regional jewelry association to take advantage of the free website service offered by JewelerWebsites.com to regional associations.

"We were approached by Luke Schmidt, one of the Directors of KJA. They had a deadline to move their website and were simply going to transfer their hosting to our service. We hadn't yet made the public announcement about our Free Regional Jeweler Association Website Service, the situation was serendipitous," said Matthew Perosi, president of JewelerWebsites.com. "KJA was gifted a new mobile website, a new jewelry website design for their PC website. We expect consumers to take complete advantage of this website. More importantly we hope retail jewelers will develop a greater appreciation of these types of advanced websites."

JewelerWebsites.com set up the initial website, but the routine maintenance of the site is easy enough for Luke Schmidt from Schmidt Jewelers in Arkansas City, KS, to handle without programming assistance.

JewelerWebsites.com is proud to be a website sponsor for the Kansas Jewelers Association.
