The 2012 Charger is full sized sedan that is available in the SE, SXT, R/T and SRT8 trim levels. The SE model includes a 3.6L V6 flex-fuel engine that produces 292 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. It receives 18 mpg in the city and 27 on the highway. The SE has 17-in alloy wheels, keyless entry, dual zone climate control, and the Uconnect Media Center with touchscreen.

The 2012 Dodge Charger SXT includes the same engine, but an upgraded eight-speed automatic transmission that allows the car to receive 31 mpg on the highway. The SXT includes foglamps, remote ignition, automatic climate control, heated seats, a larger touch screen, and 19-inch wheels. Steering wheel shifting paddles and ventilated sport seats are optional.

The 2012 Charger R/T model has a 5.7-liter V8 that produces 370 hp and 395 lb-ft of torque. The SRT8 includes a 6.4-liter V8 that generates 470 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque. The Charger SRT8 includes 20-inch wheels, upgraded brakes, a rear spoiler, and special styling. It also includes a heated steering wheel, heated and cooled cupholders, heated rear seats, and a rearview camera. A navigation system, with real time traffic, is optional on both models.
