KBE Building Corporation Donates To Good Knight Child Empowerment Network

KBE Building Corporation (KBE) has donated $1,000 to the Good Knight Child Empowerment Network.

KBE Building Corporation (KBE) (www.kbebuilding.com) has donated $1,000 to the Good Knight Child Empowerment Network.

Created in 1985 by three retired government special agents, The Good Knight Child Empowerment Network is a non-profit organization that strives to empower the physical, mental, and emotional health of children by promoting knowledge about keeping a safe environment. The organization has designed and constructed the Good Knight Magic Kingdom, a privately-owned castle and family safety museum located on three acres in Beltsville, MD. The staff of the castle and museum hosts parties, magic shows, safety programs, summer camp workshops, festivals, and fields trips.

This donation was part of KBE's 50 Ways to Make a Difference program. The 50 Ways initiative is a yearlong charitable support program, which was recognized with a Community Service Award by the Connecticut Construction Industries Association in 2011. Through 50 Ways, KBE works with local community organizations to help make positive change in the communities where the firm works or its employees live. The campaign for the current year is focused on making a difference in the lives of children.

"We are a business that cares about the welfare of children and adults," said KBE President and CEO Mike Kolakowski. "Our 50 Ways program has enabled us to give to those organizations that have dedicated time and energy into making the lives of children safer and healthier, and we are extremely proud to be able to support the Good Knight Child Empowerment Network."
