"We are delighted by the warm reception we've received from the Chamber secretariat," Chhour said. "We expect to tap into the Franco-Cambodian community to help us create more jobs for the poor."
The French-Cambodian Chamber of Commerce business center provides local and foreign companies and organizations, both profit and non-profit, a place to do business in Cambodia on a short or long-term basis in the heart in Phnom Penh. It offers private offices, conference room, receptionist and related service

We partner with other organizations to further our mission of promoting sustainable global trade, to advance international development and poverty alleviation through trade-related applied research, education and training, and business.
Key programmatic areas include:
* International trade policy research: We believe that the health of the global economy and peace between nations depend on countries having productive trade relationships, which requires open, fact-based dialogues. We initiate research, elicit opinions and disseminate information about global trade to encourage objective debate and balanced policy making in support of open, free, transparent and fair global trade.
* Trade-related education & skills development: We sponsor educational opportunities for individuals who show a commitment to participating in or promoting innovative and competitive global trade. The Kearny Alliance offers stipend support for students from Myanmar, Cambodia, Vietnam, Lao and mainland China to study in Hong Kong, Thailand, The Philippines and the US. We give our scholars internships and on-the-job training in export-related companies and organizations in ten countries.
* Export-led job creation: We offer practical trade services to promote and coach producers on how to participate in global trade. Through the Developing Country Export Assistance Program, the Kearny Alliance connects smaller exporters in developing Asia with buyers worldwide. Surveys of our supplier-beneficiaries in India, Cambodia, Vietnam, the Philippines and Indonesia show they have received $829,792 in export orders, and expect $8,011,169 to develop in the next 12 months.
