Kent Security Unveils New Cutting-Edge Security System That Requires No Keys, Cards or Codes; Live Demonstration June 2 and 3

Kent Security Services, headquartered in North Miami Beach, FL, is the first company in the United States to offer the complete SafeRise® system, a new, cutting-edge security system for single-family, high-rise, office, multifamily and multi-tenant

North Miami Beach, FL - May 27, 2010 - Kent Security Services, offering guard services, investigations and electronic security in Florida, New York and Dallas, today announced that it is the first company in the United States to offer the complete SafeRise® system, a cutting-edge security system for single-family, high-rise, office, multifamily and multi-tenant buildings.

An Israeli company developed SafeRise® as a state-of-the-art comprehensive controlled-access system that facilitates management and control of building entry points, common areas, elevators and parking. It utilizes second-generation facial, voice and behavioral biometrics to authenticate a user's identity and determine whether or not the individual is cleared for access to the area protected by the system.

"This technology is one of the most exciting, game-changing technologies to be developed in many years for home and commercial use," said Gil Neuman, CEO of Kent Security Services. "SafeRise® lets the right people in and keeps the wrong people out."

Kent Security will host two live demonstrations: Wed., June 2, 12 - 2 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Miami, 400 SE 2nd Avenue, and Thurs., June 3, 12 - 2 p.m. at the Sheraton Ft. Lauderdale Airport, 1825 Griffin Road, Dania.

Among the system's most important benefits: SafeRise® reduces operating expenses while simultaneously increasing property values.

"No keys, cards, or codes are required. You are the key," Neuman said. "SafeRise® is clearly leading the way for security solutions for the 21st century. Its intelligent-controlled access solution provides multi-tenant projects unique competitive advantages to positively impact the bottom line, and is well-suited for both building upgrades and new construction. SafeRise® also complements a part-time doorman and/or substitutes for a full-time doorman."

SafeRise® utilizes a fusion of technologies including face recognition, speech and speaker recognition and license plate recognition.

To assist with the functionality of the system, SafeRise® also includes a redundant on-site server, networked door controllers and intercoms, high-resolution surveillance cameras, electronic locks and more. As a final layer of security, the system offers an optional service whereby a live monitoring center can be contacted under specific circumstances.

"In essence, what differentiates SafeRise® from other biometric access control systems is its fusion of both hardware and software utilizing a variety of technologies to assess a user's walk, talk, look, vehicle, voice patterns and stress levels," Neuman added.

Founded in 1982, Kent Security employs more than 1,400 full time security officers who protect more than 250,000 people and 250 million square feet of property for its clients, who include municipalities, governmental agencies, institutions of higher learning, homeowner and condominium associations, and large events such as Super Bowl XLI, Super Bowl XLIII, NFL Pro Bowl and the filming of Miami Vice.
