Kentico Announces Support for Visual Studio 2010 in Kentico CMS 5.5

Kentico Software announced that Kentico CMS 5.5 will provide full support for Visual Studio 2010 and the Microsoft .NET Framework 4 today at the DevConnections Conference.

Kentico CMS 5.5 together with Visual Studio 2010 make a powerful combination in delivering rich, dynamic and interactive Web sites, community sites, intranets and on-line stores.

Kentico CMS 5.5 also includes authorization via Facebook Connect and OpenID or RSS Web parts & widgets. Based on customer feedback both the Sharepoint Connector and MetaWeblog API are now fully integrated in Kentico CMS. Other improvements include enhanced reporting, performance and mobile optimization.

"The newly included Mobile section of the Corporate Sample Site was added by customer request. Given the volume of mobile development our customers were looking for examples of optimized pages for the web-browser based smart phones. Using Kentico CMS for their websites they are able to cut the time and costs of development of Mobile version of the standard Web pages" explains Michael Neuwirth, Product Manager at Kentico Software.

Kentico will showcase its content management solution at the DevConnections Conference in Las Vegas, NV at booth 514. Kentico will also exhibit at Internet World London in April, at J.Boye Conference in Philadelphia, PA in May and at Microsoft Tech•Ed North America in New Orleans, LA in June.
