KEYMILE at GITEX Technology Week 2013 in Dubai
KEYMILE is stepping up its activities in the Middle East and will again take part in GITEX Technology Week in Dubai, the region's biggest ICT trade show.
Online, September 22, 2013 (Newswire.com) - In the German Pavilion, the company will present is comprehensive portfolio of solutions, based on the multi-service access platform MileGate, for powerful broadband expansion and exceptionally reliable data transmission in dedicated networks.
KEYMILE is a leading supplier of cutting-edge technology for communications solutions in access and transmission systems. The company will again be at GITEX Technology Week from 20 to 24 October 2013 and presenting its latest products and solutions on stand Z-H17 in the German Pavilion. Visitors to the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Center will be able to discover the range of applications multi-service access platform MileGate handles. MileGate will allow network operators to cover all broadband technologies via copper or optical fibre network networks with a high level of port density.
MileGate offers ADSL2plus, VDSL2 and optical Ethernet cards, telephony interfaces and gateways, as well as cards for business customer services. Public network operators can add vectoring to the VDSL2 ports, so that data rates of up to 100 Mbps (17a profiles) can be provided reliably even in major roll-outs. The MileGate platform is easily scalable and ideal for all types of network architecture with copper lines and optical fibre.
As a multi-service-packet-transport platform, MileGate is also an excellent choice for dedicated networks at railway companies, local authorities and utilities. Due to high MTBF figures (Mean Time Between Failures) and a number of security functions that ensure maximum availability, MileGate for dedicated networks is tailored to the special requirements of these market segments.
KEYMILE will showcase a new Ethernet board for these applications which has 12 gigabit Ethernet ports with Power-over-Ethernet capability. Key areas it's used in are video surveillance, secure access controls, WiFi hotspots, industrial automation or Voice-over-IP telephony in communications networks at railway companies or utilities.
KEYMILE has its own Centre of Competence to support its local partners and customers in the Middle East, for example operators of public communications networks, as well as companies in the transportation sector and from the oil and gas industry. GASCO from Abu Dhabi, Batelco from Bahrain and Saudi Aramco from Saudi Arabia are just some of its customers. The Centre of Competence has recently been equipped with an extensive testing and integration environment for public telecommunications and dedicated networks. As a result, network operators will be able to have their own equipment thoroughly tested with KEYMILE products as a proof of concept before they jointly design and configure customised solutions and put them into operation.
