Keysoft Solutions Acquires AutoLUX
Boston, MA, February 6, 2017 (Newswire.com) - Keysoft Solutions has signed an agreement to acquire the rights to the lighting design program, AutoLUX, from US based Independent Testing Laboratories (ITL), Inc.
The acquisition will secure future investment in the AutoLUX product and broaden its existing KeyLIGHTS offering in the UK to international users. A plan is in place that will see the Keysoft Solutions team service the needs of existing and new AutoLUX users going forward.
Keysoft Solutions’ CEO Jeremy Ellis says, “AutoLUX is an established package in the US, and this acquisition extends our existing lighting design capabilities by adding functionality for engineers to calculate lighting levels and produce lighting design drawings in one simple to use application. This strategic acquisition provides us with the capacity to extend the Keysoft product portfolio and ensures that AutoLUX will continue to be developed.”
AutoLUX will complement the existing range of traffic management and landscape design software, which assists highways and landscaping professionals in the creation of detailed 2D and 3D design drawings.
Bill Bracket on behalf of ITL comments, “Having overseen the development of AutoLUX for the last 30 years, we are pleased to have the product acquired by Keysoft who will ensure that the functionality to users will be available long into the future.”
Ellis adds, “Initially we will continue to maintain both the AutoLUX and KeyLIGHTS software as separate products. However, as they are complementary, we plan to integrate them so that all customers will get the benefit of both pieces of software.”
Keysoft Solutions provides a comprehensive range of CAD and database applications for landscaping, traffic management, road safety, street lighting and highways maintenance engineering. With intuitive interfaces and extensive libraries of symbols, they are the preferred software providers for a large number of municipalities, civil engineers and blue-chip organizations.
