Kick Cancer Overboard Awards 3 Free Cruises to New Jersey Families

Kick Cancer Overboard teamed up with the Count Basie Theatre's Rockit Live Foundation for a three-hour concert to help send three New Jersey families struggling with cancer on a free cruise.

Kick Cancer Overboard teamed up with the Count Basie Theatre's Rockit Live Foundation for a three-hour concert to help send three New Jersey families struggling with cancer on a free cruise.

The fundraiser took place at the Buona Sera Palazzo in Ocean Township and featured a 4- course dinner for a 5-star cause.

There was not a dry eye in the room when three local families (all affected by cancer) were surprised with a free cruise to Bermuda, on Royal Caribbean's new ship Anthem of the Seas.

Kick Cancer Overboard (www.kickcanceroverboard.org) is a local 501c3 not for profit organization giving away free cruises to people whose lives have been affected by cancer.

In 5 short years, Kick Cancer Overboard has awarded 136 free cruises to local families.

Rockit! is a local not-for-profit organization for kids ages 8-18, playing rock music. These artists are the true superstars of tomorrow, playing classic rock from Pink Floyd to Santana, from Queen to Woodstock, and always a few unexpected surprises in between.
