Kim Olive Promoted to Director of Public Affairs at Southwest Strategies, LLC
Online, May 5, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Kimberly Olive has been promoted to Director of Public Affairs at Southwest Strategies, one of San Diego's leading public affairs firm. Olive joined the company in August 2007 as an Account Executive after working on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. She has been working as a Senior Account Executive since August 2008.
In her time with the company, Olive has expanded the firm's skill set in media training, brand marketing and strategic planning. In her new position, she will manage research and marketing efforts, coordinate client projects and develop and implement public affairs programs.

Olive attended The University of Alabama where she graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication. She has since become a member of the Lincoln Club of San Diego as well as serving in an advisory role in local political campaigns. In her time at Southwest Strategies she has worked with a variety of clients, including Walmart Stores, Inc., North County Transit District, Pardee Homes and the City of Carlsbad.
