When asked why she decided to pursue a career in real estate, Tocco noted that her inspiration came after a particularly trying period of her life:

"We lost our son to suicide in 2011. And before that my husband, who is a firefighter, was getting pay cuts, and we had issues with foreclosure and short sales and found ourselves moving from rental to rental. To make a long story short, I woke up one morning in 2013 and thought, let’s figure this out. I couldn’t even find any real estate agents willing to work with us because we had had a bankruptcy, and I realized that the only way we were going to be able to purchase a house was if I became a realtor myself. My whole career took off from there."

Now working with Tru Realty, she is known for her determination to ease the stress and trials of the real estate experience for her clients not just during, but anytime after their transactions have been completed. “I base my business on giving back and 100 percent customer service,” she says. “Not just from the beginning of our relationship, but beyond. ‘Hey, I have termites,’ they say. Or, ‘Hey, my faucet is leaking, who can I call?’ My relationship with my clients is forever — most of them become dear friends. We figure things out together.”
