Klean Industries Announces Jeffrey Flannery, the Ex-CEO of Delta-Energy Group, Has Joined the Klean Team as a Strategic Advisor

Klean Industries Tire Pyrolysis Technology

Klean Industries Inc. ("Klean"), a specialist in the manufacturing of integrated tire pyrolysis plants that produce the highest-quality recovered carbon blacks ("rCB") and recovered fuel oil ("rFO"), is pleased to announce the appointment of Jeffrey Flannery as the Company's Strategic Advisor.

Flannery's experience in tire pyrolysis is extensive as he previously served at Delta-Energy Group LLC ("Delta") as the Chief Executive Officer from 2015 to 2019. Flannery was instrumental in securing strategic capital from Bridgestone and the additional expansion capital from Castleton Commodities International for the buildout and the commercialization of Delta's first commercial-scale recovered carbon black ("rCB") plant in Natchez, Mississippi, USA. Under Flannery's leadership and dedication, Delta was also able to attract a multitude of industrial-scale rCB customers in the tire, rubber, and chemical markets that enabled Delta to become a leading producer of rCB in the United States.

"I am proud to join Klean Industries during this exciting time as they look to capitalize on several projects and roll out their commercial-scale tire pyrolysis technology. Based on Jesse's vision, and his team's in-depth experience in the tire recycling industry, I believe Klean has the best chance of any to build a robust tire pyrolysis enterprise in North America and be a defining player in the ELT circular economy worldwide. I look forward to supporting these efforts and being part of this critical program for sustainable resource management," commented Jeffrey Flannery, Strategic Advisor for Klean Industries Inc.

"We are extremely excited to have Jeff come on board and join the Klean Team as we continue to build out a portfolio of tire pyrolysis projects. It's an exciting time for Klean Industries, and having people of Jeff's caliber, experience, and leadership skills is instrumental in building value for our shareholders. As we continue to advance several projects globally, we believe Jeff will be a great asset to the Company," said Jesse Klinkhamer, CEO of Klean Industries Inc.
