Krav Maga of Orange County Continues Investing in the Community, Led A Free Seminar to Students in Santa Ana Police Department Foundation's Explorer Program
Online, March 6, 2014 (Newswire.com) - Krav Maga of Orange County provided a free seminar on February 5, 2014 to 36 participants aged fourteen to twenty from the Santa Ana Police Department Foundation's (SAPDF) Explorer Program. Krav Maga of Orange County is proud to give back to the community and demonstrate to young people the value in being confident, staying safe and off the streets, and learning self-defense. The seminar was led by Yuri Boiarsky for students who are participating in the program in order to further their goal of someday serving their communities as law enforcement officers.
Krav Maga of Orange County is also certified by Krav Maga Worldwide's Force Training Division to provide a training program that has been shared with over 500 law enforcement agencies in the United States and multiple U.S. Military units stationed locally and around the world. As students of SAFP successfully become active law enforcement, they can continue training with KMOC and the Force Training Division's system that has received international recognition as a highly practical defensive tactics system ideally suited for law enforcement.
According to the sapdf.org website, the Santa Ana Police Foundation is a non-profit organization that supports the Santa Ana Police Explorer Program, Post #238. The membership of the program is made up of approximately forty of Santa Ana's youth, ranging from fourteen to twenty years of age. These residents of Santa Ana are committed to the principles and goals of crime prevention, community service and have a high interest in Law Enforcement. Their participation positively strengthens the local youth leadership and contributes to a safer Santa Ana community.
