Kuwait Construction Sector Estimated To Be Worth US$ 6.6 Billlion In 2022

The construction industry in the Middle East has gained fresh impetus thanks to continuing investments by governments around the region in large infrastructure projects.

The construction industry in the Middle East has gained fresh impetus thanks to continuing investments by governments around the region in large infrastructure projects.

According to a report by research firm Business Monitor International, Kuwait's construction industry continues to post improved year-on-year growth and the industry is expected to be worth US$ 6.6 billion by 2022, more than doubling its current value with forecast of a 3.6% year on year growth.


"The creation of new infrastructure and the construction industry as a whole is an industry of immense significance to the regional economy," said Ahmed Pauwels, CEO of Epoc Messe Frankfurt. "Hardware+Tools Middle East aims to help direct the flow of renewed interest in the region from international industry majors to the appropriate clientele in the regional market.

The Hardware category features door, window & furniture hardware, locks & accessories, consumables, abrasives, adhesives, anchors, fasteners, fittings, lacquers & varnishes, nails & rivets, paints & painting products, sealants, screws, nuts etc. In the Materials segment one can view aluminium, doors, windows & gates, floors & flooring, ladders, scaffolding, lifts, metal, iron & steel materials and plastic, rubber & wood materials.
