Kwik-Fit Wins Award For Dedication To Staff Development

Online, March 16, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Distance Learning College & Training, who provide qualifications in logistics and supply chain to over 300 companies in the UK and students in over 50 countries, have been providing training and qualifications accredited by the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport to a number of staff at Kwik Fit's headquarters in Broxburn, West Lothian for over a year.

The team, based at Kwik-Fit Headquarters near Edinburgh, are responsible for the ordering and distribution of tyres for Kwik-Fit retail centres across the UK and have been completing their qualifications with sponsorship from the company to further develop their skills in logistics. The support they have received from Kwik Fit in completing these professional qualifications set the company over and above the rest in the eyes of Distance Learning College & Training, resulting in Kwik-Fit receiving the award for Employer Dedicated to Learning & Development in Distance Learning College & Training's 2011 Learning Awards.
