Kyup Container Cloud Launches Data Centers in Europe and Asia Pacific, Bolstering Its Global Presence

Kyup's first data centers outside of the U.S. allow customers to host their applications in whichever continent best fits their business needs

Kyup.com, the next-gen cloud hosting provider, today announced the launch of two new data center locations in Europe and in the Asia Pacific region. This announcement comes on the heels of the public availability of Kyup’s secure container platform, which came to market in March.

The announcement of the new datacenters has been highly anticipated by Kyup clients, who will now be able to choose from the three server locations the one closest to their users for their web projects. The added benefit of low latency thanks to the geographical proximity paired with Kyup’s key features such as 5secs cloud server provisioning, auto scaling with no downtime, reliable backup, technical support, and a low pay-per-use cost makes their offering unmatched in the cloud hosting industry.

"This data center expansion will allow Kyup to provide existing and future customers with greater access to the European and Asian markets and offer our scalable container cloud infrastructure to the growing tech and startup communities in both these regions."

Tenko Nikolov, CEO

“Our new locations and facilities were strategically chosen to offer extremely good connectivity, enterprise-class redundancy and high-end security.” said Tenko Nikolov, Kyup Founder and CEO, “This data center expansion will allow Kyup to provide existing and future customers with greater access to the European and Asian markets and offer our scalable container cloud infrastructure to the growing tech and startup communities in both these regions.”

European Data Center, Amsterdam:

The new data center in Amsterdam comes as a direct response to multiple requests by Kyup’s customers for an European server location. Stricter EU regulations often make it difficult for companies’ data to be moved outside the continent, hence more European clients prefer to host their data locally. The shortage of affordable scalable local cloud hosting providers has pushed companies to find hosting in other regions regardless of the difficulty – until now.

Kyup’s Amsterdam expansion is strategically geo located in the center of the continent, which ensures proximity to all European countries, as well as access to a wide range of network providers across the rest of the European continent. Amsterdam is one of the biggest tech hubs in Europe, providing exceptional connectivity from each country in Europe and the rest of the world. The facility is top tier, with highly automated security and environmental monitoring.

Asia Pacific Data Center, Singapore:

The Singapore data center location will meet the rising demand of IT services and affordable, scalable cloud hosting in Asia while allowing clients to tap into the Australian and New Zealand tech scenes in tandem. Again, it is a best-practices-based facility, maintaining multiple power feeds, fiber links, dedicated generators, and battery backup built from industry-leading hardware and equipment, ensuring the highest level of performance, reliability, and interoperability with 24x7 on-site security and rigorous controls.

This release is one of many exciting announcements to come from Kyup within the first half of the year, as the company is expected to roll out several key new features such as Private Networking, Automatic migration from other cloud hosting providers, native Docker support on LXC containers and 1-click installs for even more softwares in the future.
