L.L.Bean at Tysons Corner Center to Undergo Renovation

Tysons Corner, VA, June 9, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Tysons Corner Center, one of the nation’s top five malls, will undergo a renovation at one of its most popular stores: L.L.Bean. KBE Building Corp. is serving as General Contractor for the project designed by Arrowstreet and located at 1961 Chain Bridge Road in McLean.  

Project Highlights

The project encompasses an open-store, phased renovation of the existing two-level, 60,000 s/f L.L.Bean retail store located within Tysons Corner Center, designed to enhance the customer shopping experience.

·         demolition of store perimeter shelving/merchandising to be replaced with new rustic reclaimed wood wall treatments and shelving equipment

·         renovation of existing fitting rooms, bike shop sales/maintenance area

·         removal of existing water feature/display area

·         new exterior L.L.Bean monument signage

·         replacement of all existing store fixtures and display racks

The L.L.Bean renovation, scheduled for completion in July 2015, is the latest in string of major retail projects KBE is completing for companies including Panera, Chipotle, Price Chopper, JC Penney, and more in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast.
