Laboratory Testing Inc. Named to Greater Lehigh Valley Fastest Growing Companies
Laboratory Testing Inc. (LTI) was chosen as one of the 2013 Fastest Growing Companies in the Greater Lehigh Valley based on earned revenue and growth from 2009 thru 2012. LTI, a materials testing and calibration lab also received this award in 2012.
Online, October 2, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Laboratory Testing Inc. (LTI), has been honored by being named one of the Greater Lehigh Valley's Fastest Growing Companies for the second year in a row. The Fastest Growing Companies awards program celebrates the Greater Lehigh Valley's most dynamic companies who progressively contribute to the success of the region's economic growth and stability. LTI, a materials testing and calibration laboratory in business since 1984, successfully participated in the inaugural program last year and again met the requirements for the 2013 program.
Participating companies were initially entered into the program through nominations. Eligibility requirements included revenue of at least $500,000 in three out of the four previous years, and revenue growth over the four year period from fiscal year 2009 to 2012. Once the nomination process was completed, the submissions were ranked by the accounting firm ParenteBeard, according to revenue growth over the four-year period. Both dollar and percentage increases were taken into consideration.
Laboratory Testing Inc. president, Mike McVaugh, said "LTI had a good run over the past four years. We have a loyal customer base and a dedicated team of employees. We focus on making our customers' jobs easier by providing all the materials testing, calibration, and support services they need at our facility." The company's successful run goes back much farther than the past few years. In fact, the employees of Laboratory Testing Inc. have been rewarded twice in the past ten years with paid vacations for exceeding the company's "outstanding" goals for five years in a row. In 2008 the employees cruised to Bermuda and in July they flew to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
LTI, along with the other Fastest Growing Companies, will be presented with their awards during a luncheon at the Agri-Plex Expo Center in Allentown, PA. The event will take place from 12 PM-2 PM on October 9th, 2013. The awards program is produced by Lehigh Valley Business, who will publish a special supplement to highlight the honorees on October 14, 2013. The awards program is sponsored by Lehigh Valley Economic Development Group, Lehigh Valley Carpenter's Union and Fitzpatrick, Lentz and Bubba.
