Laboratory Testing Inc. to Meet with Members of Congress During ACIBC Action Days
Laboratory Testing Inc. will be meeting with members of Congress during ACIBC Action Days 2014. LTI representatives will debate the cutting of funds for the U.S Navy's aircraft carrier construction and maintenance program.
Online, March 20, 2014 (Newswire.com) - Laboratory Testing Inc. (LTI) of Hatfield, PA, will be travelling to Washington, DC to meet with members of Congress during the Aircraft Carrier Industrial Base Coalition (ACIBC) Action Days 2014. This event coincides with Congress debating the cutting of funds for the U.S Navy's aircraft carrier construction and maintenance program. As a supplier of materials testing services to manufacturers of raw materials and component parts used in the construction of aircraft carriers, LTI representatives will be meeting with Pennsylvania's Congressional Delegates to discuss the importance of funding the aircraft carrier program to facilitate business and economic health.
In addition to Laboratory Testing Inc., over 180 suppliers from across the United States will actively participate in explaining to members of Congress the importance of fully funding the program for the well-being of the 2,000 businesses and their employees across the United States that contribute parts and services to the production and maintenance or aircraft carriers, as well as the strength of the economy and our defense program. ACIBC Action Days 2014 will take place on March 26 and 27, 2014 in Washington, DC.
The Aircraft Carrier Industrial Base Coalition was established in 2004 to preserve the strength of the aircraft carrier force as a critical part of the nation's defense structure. The organization currently represents about 400 businesses that supply services and components for U. S. Navy aircraft carriers.
