Ladies Comedy Night for Charity

Online, May 25, 2010 (Newswire.com) - CORTLANDT MANOR, NY. May 25, 2010 - In order to assist the Alzheimer's Association, Alicia DeSio from Genworth Financial and Events To Remember have teamed up to create an entertaining and charitable night on Friday June 11, 2010 from 7:30 to 10:30 pm.

The Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk was established in 1989 and has raised over $200 million to help those suffering from Alzheimer's disease. The walk itself helps bring together families, friends, caregivers and the community to raise awareness and give support to those who are suffering from the effects of this disease. Putnam County is busy raising funds for its walk occurring on Oct 17, 2010.

The number can be greatly increased by the proceeds from the Ladies Comedy Night Out. Taking place at Four Brothers Pizza Restaurant on Route 6 in Mahopac, NY, this night out includes wine, cheese and hors d'oeuvres. Adding to the night tailored to things women love, this event also features female comic Linda Belt. As an ex-housewife, Belt's humor touches upon absurdities in modern life, parenting, marriage, sex and more.
