Lagspike.tv To Cover Wizardworld Chicago Live, Release New Website
Lagspike.tv will be providing live coverage from Wizardworld Chicago on August 10th and 11th, as well as debuting a new website in preparation for the event.
Online, August 6, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Lagspike.tv plans on providing seven hours of live programming during the convention. Included in this programming will be interviews and live coverage of the show floor.
Friday, August 10th, Lagspike.tv will broadcast live from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm eastern. Saturday, August 11th, Lagspike will broadcast live from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Saturday's broadcast will include recorded segments from Thursday and Friday.
Segments recorded Saturday and Sunday will be shown either on XP-Losion, Lagspike.tv's Monday evening show, or else on Arc of Wrestling's podcast on Sunday, August 19th.
Planned during Lagspike.tv's Wizardworld coverage are interviews of artists, actors, and others from the show floor. Those Lagspike.tv hopes to interview include Kevin Sorbo, Dean Cain, Colin Ferguson, Peter Mayhew, Kevin Nash, John Morrison, and Amy 'Lita' Dumas. Lagspike.tv gives no guarantees either these, or other guests, will be interviewed either live or recorded.
In addition to the broadcast from Wizardworld, Lagspike.tv will be rolling out a new website design on Tuesday, August 7th in preparation of the event. Streamlined for better display, the Lagspike.tv website provides an interactive hub for all manner of programming being planned over the coming months. Focused on streaming live casts, users will be able to add their own personal streaming details to the site, or to become partners with Lagspike.tv and be featured with additional capabilities.
Included in the redesign of the Lagspike.tv webpage will be an updated forum, in order to provide a place for all manner of video game, television and movie information, and other items of interest for the technologicly savvy individual. News articles will be able to be submitted to Lagspike.tv for inclusion on the website, as will the capability for users to review games, movies, television, and the like and be featured. Lagspike.tv will give full credit to the users making the reviews, and discussions will occur on all such items.
An interactive time line will be provided for Lagspike.tv's scheduled show streams. Shows such as XP-Losion, Lagspike.tv's massively multiplayer online show, will remove guesswork as to when they will be shown. Shows such as R-Cade and Lagspike Wrestling will be added to the schedule, as will shows broadcast from Lagspike.tv's partners, mentioned above. These shows will be able to access a customized Flash player for broadcast, if the partner so desires.
