Lake Las Vegas Rowing Regatta March 3-4
HENDERSON, Nev., February 28, 2018 (Newswire.com) - The Lake Las Vegas Collegiate Invitational Rowing Regatta is happening March 3 and 4. The event is free to attend and open to the public, with races starting sharply a 9 a.m. Saturday, March 3.
The Collegiate Invitational Rowing Regatta will feature the top collegiate rowing crews in the country, including defending NCAA Champions from the University of Washington. Men’s and women’s Rowing crews from Dartmouth College, University of Southern California, Oregon State, and Santa Clara will be racing throughout the weekend. Then come back on April 14 to witness the University of Washington race the University of Michigan and the University of Texas rowing crews.
This year’s Rowing Regatta will be held at the beautiful Lake Las Vegas, one of the best rowing courses in the country. The Lake Las Vegas Rowing Club began two years ago and has grown to incorporate competitive junior and adult rowing programs with over 60 athletes given the opportunity to train on the lake each day.
