Lantin's New Best Seller Notches-up More Rave Reviews
Online, March 12, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Lantin's new book "Come Here and I'll Show You' has now received 12 rave reviews on Amazon, seven of which awarded the book a top 5-Star rating.
The latest review by Shawn Kovacich describes the book as "a thrilling read in the genre of the pulp novels and more recently series like War Against the Mafia (Mack Bolan: the Executioner.)"
Pulling no punches, Kovacich quips "Do yourself a favor and read it, you won't be disappointed!"
Come here...and I'll Show You" is adventure novel that takes readers for a wild ride through the jungles of Laos and Cambodian, - and what a ride!
A veteran of the CIA's "Secret War' in Laos is hired to return to the jungles to find some missing property. He knows his client is not to be trusted, but she is beautiful, sexy, beguiling, and she offers him a fee of US$200,000; the combination wins him over, and then the wild ride begins.
The action is continuous and the book is hard to put down. Get ready for fisticuffs, fire-fights, ambushes, exotic locations and a bevy of exotic Asian ladies. This is not a book for the faint-hearted.
The book is 'pulpish' and follows the best traditions of the vintage 'Pulp novels' by writers like Mickey Spillane and John MacDonald. The similes and metaphors are outrageous; the language is clipped and colloquial. The men are men and the women are darn glad of it. Needless to say, the women are fast and dangerous, and the hero is a two-fisted man of action.
Come Here... and I'll Show You" is an adventure-thriller. The action is not graphic and the seduction all happens 'off the page' - although there is plenty to excite the imagination. The book is often amusing, often surprising and always entertaining.
The novel is available as an e-Book on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Google Books. There are also unconfirmed rumours about a film deal, but no details have been published yet.
