Lara Rosenblum Appointed to Autism Advocacy Non-Profit Board of Directors
NEW YORK, May 23, 2018 (Newswire.com) - Special Citizens Futures Unlimited (SCFU), an autism advocacy non-profit based in the Bronx, New York, is pleased to announce the appointment of Lara Rosenblum to its board of directors. For over 40 years, SCFU has provided wide-ranging resources and advocacy to hundreds of adult women and men with autism spectrum disorders in the Bronx, Westchester and Manhattan. As an organization, SCFU works tirelessly to improve and support the lives of people affected by autism through day and community habilitation programs, as well as through providing supported residences for a growing number of individuals living with developmental disabilities and all forms of autism spectrum disorders.
SCFU is thrilled to welcome Ms. Rosenblum to its already talented and diverse board of directors. Rosenblum is a healthcare industry professional with a management consulting background. She has developed new patient care programs, products and services for Fortune 500 firms such as CVS Health and Blue Cross Blue Shield. Prior to beginning her successful professional career, Lara graduated with honors during her bachelor studies in politics and went on to obtain a masters degree in international business, both from New York University. She is actively involved in building community advocacy programs for residents in the 33rd Brooklyn district in addition to her volunteer work with SCFU. In her spare time, she enjoys travel, photography and staying active with her family.
