Larson Electronics Releases 26W Explosion-Proof, Low-Profile LED Light Fixture, 3,380 Lumens, CID1

KEMP, Texas, October 22, 2019 (Newswire.com) -   Larson Electronics, a Texas-based company with over 40 years of experience spearheading the industrial lighting and equipment sectors, announced the release of an explosion-proof, low-profile LED light fixture for use in Class I, Division 1 hazardous locations. This compact LED fixture is an ideal replacement for bulky and high-maintenance older fixtures. This unit carries a T5 temperature rating and a paint spray booth and ATEX/IECEx certifications.

The EPL-LP-12-LED explosion-proof, low-profile LED fixture is rated for use in Class I, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups C and D; Class II, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups E, F and G; and Class III, Divisions 1 and 2 hazardous locations. This LED light produces 3,380 lumens of light output while only drawing 26 watts and features a color temperature of 5000K with 4500K and 3000K options available. This light is housed in a copper-free aluminum alloy body that is powder-coated for added durability.

Larson Electronics’ low-profile, explosion-proof LED light fixture features a 60,000-hour rated lifespan with 80% lumen retention. This unit features two offset LED assemblies that allow the lamp to provide a 100˚ horizontal beam spread and 140˚ vertical beam spread. The LED assembly is protected by a tempered borosilicate glass tube that is protected by a wire guard made of aluminum. This unit is universal voltage capable and can operate on 100-277V AC 50/60Hz and is IP67 rated.

This LED light comes with terminal strips and adjustable surface and suspension mounting configurations. This unit features an ambient operating temperature range of -50˚C to 65˚C and measures 18” long by 5” wide by 3” high. Suitable applications include paint spray booths, refineries, chemical manufacturing and more.
