Larson Electronics Releases Explosion Proof Control Station, Mushroom Emergency Stop, NEMA 7/9

This unit supports several control mechanisms for heavy-duty machines and features one emergency push-button with two momentary job push-buttons.

The EPCS-2XMPB-1XEST-MOD1 explosion proof control station is rated for use in Class I, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups C and D; Class I, Zones 1 and 2, Groups IIB and IIA; Class II, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups E, F and G; and Class III hazardous locations. This unit has a maximum voltage rating of 600V AC and supports three drilled and tapped operator holes. This unit is made of aluminum with stainless-steel parts and is compatible with surface mount configurations.

Larson Electronics’ explosion proof control station features two job push-buttons with the single forward button terminated in parallel with the FWD contact of the ‘screen FWD/off/Rev’ three-position selector switch. The reverse job push-button with a ‘Screen Rev’ label is terminated in parallel with the Rev contact of the ‘screen FWD/off/Rev’ three-position selector switch. This unit is suitable for use in petroleum or chemical refineries, paint spray booths, and more.
