Larson Electronics Releases Low-Profile, Explosion-Proof LED Fixture, 11-25V AC/DC, 2600 Lumens

KEMP, Texas, December 17, 2019 (Newswire.com) - ​​ Larson Electronics, a Texas-based company with over 40 years of experience spearheading the industrial lighting and equipment sectors, announced the release of a low-profile, explosion-proof LED strip light fixture for use in Class I, Division 2 hazardous locations. This unit is 24” long and produces 2,600 lumens of light output while operating on 11-25V AC/DC. This unit comes with six feet of connecting lead with flying leads.

The HAL-24-IPS-LED hazardous location LED light strip fixture is made of powder-coated extruded aluminum and is rated IP65 for protection against low-pressure water jets. This unit is rated for use in Class I, Division 2, Groups A, B, C and D hazardous locations. This low-profile unit is weatherproof and suitable for indoor and outdoor use and is designed for locations where wide dispersal and a low profile is necessary.

Larson Electronics’ hazardous location LED light fixture operates on low voltage with 12V rated at 1.2 amps and 24V rated at 0.58 amps. This light comes equipped with six feet of 16/3 SOOW cable and a lens that is made of unbreakable polycarbonate. This LED light can be mounted with two standard adjustable end brackets for mounting to flat surfaces with the ability to adjust the light 170˚ vertically.

This 20-watt fixture’s ambient operating temperature range is -40˚C to 60˚C and offers a spot or flood beam configuration. This T3-rated unit offers a 50,000-hour lamp life and color temperature ratings of 5000K, 4000K or 3000K. Suitable applications include industrial and commercial settings.
