Las Vegas Couple Flees The Scene After Crashing Their Cadillac Sedan Into The Side Of A North Las Vegas Home
The Tubbs family was awoken in the middle of the night when a Cadillac Sedan crashed into the side of their home. The couple driving the out-of-control car fled the scene immediately following crash.
Las Vegas, NV, October 21, 2014 (Newswire.com) - On Oct. 5, the Tubbs family got a surprising wake up call when a car rapidly crashed into the side of their Las Vegas home.
The home is located near Tenaya and Cheyenne. Homeowner Jimmy Tubbs stated that he heard the crash at around 3 a.m. He further explained that the noise was so startlingly that he nearly didn’t recognize it.
The incident occurred when a Cadillac Sedan lost control on the street and collided into the house. Tubbs has a surveillance camera outside his home so the entire accident was caught on camera.
After initially hearing the crash, Tubbs went outside to see what was going on. He noticed a woman and a man sitting in the car. Both proceeded to exit the vehicle then run past him down the road. As the woman fled past, Tubbs noticed that she was holding a baby.
Tubbs went after the pair at first. Upon running a while down the street, he gave up and returned home. It was then that he realized both his truck and Harley Davidson motorcycle were totaled.
Tubbs hopes that Las Vegas Metro will be able to track down the couple from the surveillance tape. Because they had left their car behind with the license plate on it, he expects the search to be fairly simple.
Even though he is left with expensive damages, Tubbs’ main concern is the safety of the baby.
