Las Vegas Truck Accident on Interstate 15 Near St. Rose Parkway Prompts Response From Personal Injury Lawyer

Two people killed on Monday night after a big rig overturned on a 2006 Nissan sedan traveling on the Interstate 15 prompts a response from Nevada truck accident lawyer.

Two people were killed on Monday night after a big rig overturned on a 2006 Nissan sedan. Both vehicles were traveling on the Interstate 15 near the St. Rose Parkway.

At approximately 8:30 p.m., the truck driver crashed and landed on top of the sedan, trapping a man and a woman inside the vehicle. Although paramedics were immediately called to the site, both were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

The truck driver only suffered minor injuries. Police are still trying to piece together the crash scene by interviewing witnesses and investigating the evidence.

William Seegmiller, founder of prominent Las Vegas personal injury law firm West Seegmiller Attorneys, states that "A truck accident case is generally far more complex compared to the average auto accident lawsuit," Seegmiller has been representing accident victims for over 30 years, and shares that he has encountered far too many injuries and fatalities arising from truck accidents.

Although the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration has begun implementing new regulations to improve public safety, Seegmiller believes that there's still a long way to go before the roads and highways can truly become safe. "While limiting the maximum average workweek for truck drivers is a promising start, there's still so much to be done to decrease the amount of injuries and fatalities arising from truck crashes and collisions."

According to Seegmiller, "No family should have to cope with the tragedy of a personal injury or a wrongful death on their own." He encourages accident victims and their family members to consult with a legal professional. "Although nothing can ever make up for the emotional pain you may be coping with, a lawsuit can help alleviate some of your financial burdens, and help provide a sense of justice for your losses."

For over three decades, West Seegmiller Attorneys has successfully handled a wide range of personal injury and wrongful death cases, such as auto and truck accidents, premises liability, product liability, dog bites and more.
