Latino Authors & Writers Conference

The 2011 Latino Authors & Writers Conference celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month in NYC.

Get your pencils, pens, and laptops ready and dust off those manuscripts, because the 2011 Latino Authors & Writers Conference is coming to New York City. The ONLY Latino writers conference on the East Coast, they're trying to make a name for themselves as they work to introduce aspiring Latino(a) writers and authors to the extremely competitive world of publishing. The conference takes place on Saturday, October 1st, 2011, in order to coincide with Hispanic Heritage Month and Writers Week, and it will be located at a beautiful venue at 780 Third Avenue (Bet. 48th and 49th Streets) in Manhattan. Guest speakers will include Dr. Hector R. Ortiz, author of The Creative Energy of Positive Thinking A Basic Approach to the Genuine Concept of Happiness, and Sandra Maria Esteves, writer and book cover artist! Attendees that sign up for the "Pitch" portion of the conference will have the opportunity to pitch their manuscript to an actual literary agent. Those interested in attending should sign up soon to take advantage of the Early Bird sign-up special fee of only $99.00!
