"Estamos Aquí Fiesta 2024": Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with an Exciting Lineup from the Latino Community Fund Georgia

Estamos Aquí Fiesta 2023

The Latino Community Fund (LCF Georgia) is thrilled to announce its annual “Estamos Aquí Fiesta 2024,” a vibrant, free, family-friendly festival celebrating Hispanic/Latinx Heritage Month. The event will take place at Historic Old Fourth Ward Park Amphitheater on September 7, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

This lively festival aims to enhance the visibility and relevance of the Latino community in Georgia, foster community pride, and promote civic engagement. “We're excited to kick off the start of Hispanic Heritage Month and to celebrate the Latino presence and contributions in Georgia,” said Jean-Luc Rivera, Deputy Executive Director of LCF Georgia. “Our goal for the festival is to create space for joy and affirmation of the Latino community while also inspiring members to take action and engage civically by using their voice and voting power.”

Estamos Aquí Fiesta is designed to showcase and celebrate the rich diversity of Latinx culture, heritage, and traditions. Co-hosted by Old Fourth Ward Business Association featuring a dynamic lineup of folkloric groups, live bands, and contemporary Latinx artists, alongside a diverse mercado of Latinx entrepreneurs offering a variety of Latin American foods, crafts, and more. “The Business Association decided to partner with the Latino Community Fund Georgia to empower and provide opportunities for Latino businesses in the area,” said Juan Mendoza, President of the Old Fourth Ward Business Association. “We are excited to bring the culture, creativeness, and businesses and have them celebrate in the Old Fourth Ward Park.” The park will come alive with colorful decorations, dancing, and activities for all ages.

We are still seeking sponsors to support our event and help make it an extraordinary experience for all involved.

We look forward to celebrating Latinx heritage and fostering a sense of community and belonging at Estamos Aquí Fiesta 2024.
