Latinos in Social Media (LATISM) Announces The Lineup For Its Second New York Chapter Tweetup At Univision Headquarters

Panelists Include Latino Bloggers, Activists, and Government Relations To Discuss The Emerging Hispanic Political Clout

On the heels of last month's wildly successful LATISM NY Chapter tweetup, LATISM has decided to come back for more. This time, The Univision Network will be opening their doors -at 605 Third Avenue New York, NY 10158 - to Latinos in Social Media from the New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and nearby areas. The free event will be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at 6:30 pm EST, and registration is open at http://latism-ny-may25tweetup.eventbrite.com/

Under the theme "Los Estados Unidos and the emerging Hispanic political clout" - a remarkable panel of Latino bloggers, activists, and government relations officials will address the topics of citizenship and the implications of 2010 Census results on the Latino vote: how can we translate our growing numbers into increased political clout as we gear up to 2012?

The information-packed agenda includes:
